Painted Life Drawings 31 3 10

To this weeks life drawing class I brought paints and encouraged the artists to bring canvas and to draw with the brush. This allows large areas to be blocked in quickly and for watercolour effects.
The paintings shown here were done in 20 or so minutes. Not all the paintings were successful and we can't rub out paint but we can paint over the crap ones and use the canvas again at next week's class.
Not having any beginners to teach drawing to I am able to let go and all of us are having fun playing with paint.
Our model was a clothed portrait model with a strong face and beautiful shoulder blades... Back to the female nude next week.
