Waihi Life Drawing Class 1 December 2010.

This week I did a little work on a drawing, above, started 2 weeks ago when only Bill and myself and our model showed up to class.
Summer has come early and hot to New Zealand this year and the class numbers have been dropping off.
Still, we keep on working like good artists should.
Below the seemingly effortless talent of Stewart in charcoal and Barry in oils.

At this class only Bill showed up so with myself and our model there was just three of us.
Regardless I practiced drawing and we had a pleasant time.

Ben is a new member of the class and I have started him on drawing ovals and the spine in order to quickly get the proportions of the figure.

Barry is a professional artist and in the class he works with oils on prepared paper.
